Clips beat razors for sectioning, and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
Did a full highlight on a client with thick hair using clips for sectioning after years of wasting time with those rat tail combs, and I finished 20 minutes faster with cleaner parts, so why do so many stylists in this trade still act like clips are amateur?

Wait, you finished 20 minutes faster? That part blows my mind. I've been using rat tail combs for like 15 years and just accepted the hand cramps as part of the job. Nobody ever told me clips were the move, they just hand you a comb in school and you never question it. The gatekeeping in this trade is real and honestly it's holding everybody back.
