Dropped $300 on a new color mixing bowl set and it completely changed my reds

I got the ProMasters from a beauty supply in Chicago last month, and the non-stick finish actually lets me see the true pigment without any leftover stain from old mixes. My copper reds went from muddy to super clean on the first client. Has anyone else found a specific tool that fixed a color you were struggling with?

Totally agree on the bowl thing. My old metal ones left a weird film that messed with my ash tones. Switched to glass and suddenly my cool blondes weren't pulling brassy. It's a small change with a huge result.

Is the bowl really that big a deal?

Ever think those fancy bowls were just hype? I used to grab whatever was cheap, but a good non-stick set made my purples actually look purple, not gray. Totally get the game changer now.

Wait till you try ceramic bowls, they keep the color cooler even in warm rooms.
