Dropped $340 on a lash extension cert that taught me nothing I couldn't learn on YouTube
Honestly I'm still mad about this. Back in February I paid $340 for a two day lash extension certification at a spot in Garden Grove and it was the biggest waste of money. The instructor spent the first morning going over the manual we already got in the mail, then the afternoon she just did one demo on a model and had us watch. The whole second day was basically us practicing on each other with her barely checking in, and she kept pushing us to buy her branded glue at $45 a bottle. I walked out with a certificate but I still can't do a proper volume set and I've watched free videos that explained isolation better than she did. Tbh I learned more from a $12 online course and just doing 20 practice sets on friends. Has anyone found an actual hands on class that was worth it? I'm in the OC area but willing to drive.
