Had to pick between two ways to fix a bad bleach job

A new client came in yesterday with orange ends from a box dye fail. I had to choose between a full color correction with a toner or just cutting off the damage. I went with the cut, taking off about three inches. It saved her hair and gave her a fresh bob. Has anyone else found a simple cut works better than trying to fix really fried ends?

Honestly, a good cut is often the best fix for truly damaged hair.

Huh, maybe it's not that bad. @jasonallen, what kind of damage are we even talking about here? Sometimes a trim is all it needs.
