Hit 30 foils in one sitting and it split the salon in two opinions

So last Saturday I did 30 foil highlights in one go on a client with super thick hair. Took me about 2 hours and 15 minutes straight through. Half my coworkers said that was impressive and efficient, the other half said I was rushing and the quality would suffer. I felt good about it but now I'm second guessing. Has anyone else hit a weird number like that where you thought you did great but the reactions were mixed?

Half the salon calling it rushed means there's probably some truth to that. Two hours and change for 30 foils on thick hair sounds like you were flying through sections instead of taking the time to saturate properly. You might feel good about the speed, but those coworkers might be seeing bleed spots or lifted roots you missed in the moment.

Big agree with @william_garcia on this one.

Had a buddy who did a whole head of foils in under 90 minutes once and was super proud. Walked into the break room to his boss holding up a foil with basically zero saturation on the ends. It was a rough day after that.
