Hit exactly 100 foils in one day last Wednesday and my arms are still mad at me
I was just trying to finish this balayage marathon for a bride and her five bridesmaids and somehow I counted every single piece I painted, 100 on the dot, and now I'm wondering if that's some kind of record or just a sign I need a better chair - has anyone else ever tracked their foil count like that?

Whoa, gotta say I'm on the other side of this one... I never count my foils because I think it just adds extra stress to an already long day. 100 sounds impressive but honestly I'd rather just focus on the sectioning and placement than keeping a running tally in my head.

Wait wait wait, you're telling me you've never even tried counting them? Like at all? That's wild to me lol. I get that it can be stressful but I've been doing it for so long it's like second nature now. Honestly it helps me zone out and focus on the rhythm of the work. Plus when I hit that 100 mark it's like a little victory dance in my head. But hey different strokes for different folks right? I just assumed everyone at least gave it a shot once.

Gotta admit I used to be in the same boat as @spencer981, thought counting was just extra stress for no reason. But after reading this, I'm actually kind of curious to try tracking my next big foil day and see what happens. Might give me something to focus on besides how bad my back hurts by hour six.
