Tried air drying my brush rollers for 2 hours vs 10 minutes and got the same curl result
I was training a new stylist last week and we set up two sets of rollers one air dried slow and one set with a quick blast from the diffuser. The curls looked identical after an hour so now I'm wondering if all that drying time is actually doing anything useful for the hold.

Stick with the quick blast, the extra air drying is just wasting your time.

Yeah I gotta agree with @taylor.reese here, the quick blast is the way to go. I timed myself last week and my diffuser method took 9 minutes versus the usual 2 hour air dry. My curls looked exactly the same after both, so why wait around? The extra drying time is just a waste.

Tried this myself a few months back with my own rollers and a stopwatch. I set one side to air dry for two hours and the other side I hit with a diffuser for maybe eight minutes. After everything settled, the curls looked exactly the same, no joke. It made me wonder if all that waiting is just a habit we keep doing because we were taught to. Now I just give them a quick blast and move on with my day. The hold lasts the same length of time for me, so I'm sticking with the fast method.
