Used to think toner was just a scam for more product sales

Changed my mind after a client with brassy yellow hair came in from a box dye disaster and a single application of Wella T18 in the sink fixed her color in 10 minutes flat - has anyone else had a toner moment that totally flipped your opinion?

Oh for real, did you also think it was just fancy water at first? I had a client who dyed her hair with black box dye and then tried to go blonde, it turned this weird greenish gray, and a cheap purple toner from the drugstore saved my butt in under 15 minutes. Definitely made me a believer after that.

Put some purple shampoo on dry hair next time before you wash it. Let it sit for like 5 mins and you'll see that green shift real quick. Works way better than trying to do it wet.

Oh man, I once left purple shampoo on too long and ended up with lavender roots for a week!
