Vent: switched from strip lashes to individual fans on a bride last Saturday and the difference is not even close
Had a bride at a venue in Austin on Saturday and she brought a strip lash set she wanted me to use, but the corners lifted twice before the ceremony even started so I went back and did individual 3D fans instead. The strip set took 20 minutes and looked flat in her photos, while the fans took almost an hour but held up through 8 hours of crying and dancing with zero lifting. Has anyone else had a bride insist on strips and then watched them peel mid reception, and do you just say no upfront now?

Wait the corners lifted TWICE before the ceremony even started?? That would have sent me into full panic mode, honestly. I can't believe she still wanted to keep them on after that, like did she not see it happening in the mirror? You did the right thing switching to the fans, there's no way that strip set was making it through a whole reception with a crying bride. I've seen strips pop off during the first dance and it is a mess every single time, so yeah I'd be saying no upfront from now on. Some brides just don't get that the cheap option costs way more in the end when the photos come back looking rough.
