Appreciation post: the day 3 of us ran 340 picks in one shift on the I-35 job in Waco
Everything clicked because the ground guys actually used hand signals and the wind stayed under 12 mph all day. What is the most picks you have ever logged in one shift?

How much do you figure the wind thing matters though? I bet under 12 is the difference between a smooth day and a mess, and if you track it you'd see the bad days all had gusts. Sounds like the hand signals were the real hero but the calm air let them work.
