Found an old log book from my first tower crane job in Chicago

I was cleaning out my garage and found my log from 2003, and the daily lift count was way lower than what we do now. Back then, a busy day was maybe fifteen picks, but now that same site would see forty easy. Does anyone else keep their old logs, or am I just a pack rat?

Tried breaking it into smaller batches throughout the day. Focused on just one area of the warehouse at a time. It made a huge difference in keeping things moving.

Wow, @laura_schmidt82, you'd be shocked at how slow some sites ran before all the new planning tech. Finding an old schedule feels like digging up a dinosaur bone. Makes you wonder what we even did all day back then.

Yeah we had this old system at my last place that literally used floppy disks. Real ones. Took like ten minutes just to load the daily schedule. People would just stand there making coffee while the computer did its thing.
