Had a perfect pick last Tuesday that made my whole week

I was setting steel on a 4 story job in Austin and every single landing was within an inch first try. Not one redo or hand signal mixup all day. Anyone else have those rare days where everything just clicks?

Man those days are the best, aren't they? It's like your brain and body just sync up and everything feels easy. I think the stars have to align just right for that kind of flow to happen - good weather, solid conditions, and the crew all on the same wavelength. You gotta soak it in when it happens because it sure doesn't happen every day.

Doesn't it feel like those perfect moments happen more when you're not even trying too hard? Kinda makes me think the universe rewards you for just rolling with things instead of forcing them.

@ellis.faith you're onto something there. I've noticed the same thing - the best shots I've ever gotten were when I was just messing around with my camera, not trying to capture anything specific. When I'm out there stressing about perfect lighting or composition, I end up with nothing but frustration. But let me tell you about the time my fishing line got tangled on a completely windless day. I was so mad I just stopped, sat down on the dock, and watched the sunset. That sunset was the most peaceful thing I've seen in years, and I didn't even pull out my phone. It's like the universe knows when you need a break from your own plans.
