I've been setting my outriggers wrong for years without knowing it

A veteran operator in Tacoma watched me set up on a slope and said, 'Your front pads are floating.' He showed me how to check the pressure gauge on each leg individually, not just eyeball it. How do you guys handle uneven ground setups?

My buddy felt stupid when his level on the table was fine but his whole machine was crooked.

Read a tip about using a small level on the machine frame itself.

Wait, on the machine frame itself? That seems way too obvious, but I've been using a level on the table this whole time. I never even thought to check if the actual machine body was square.

Check the machine frame first, but you still need to verify the table is level after that.
