Just saw a crew in Phoenix using a basic laser pointer for blind picks and it blew my mind

We were setting a 15-ton AC unit on a tight roof with zero sightline from the cab, and the signalman just taped a $20 laser to the boom tip to show me exactly where the hook block was. Anyone else have a cheap trick for blind lifts?

Totally agree about the laser trick. I used to just guess and end up with a bunch of stuff I didn't want. Now I can actually see what I'm picking. It saved me from grabbing a rotten apple just yesterday. Makes the whole process way less stressful.
