Question about a stubborn hydraulic line on a 200-ton crawler

Everyone says to just replace the whole line if it's weeping, but I spent 4 hours trying to get the old fitting to seal with new crush washers before giving up. The access was so tight I had to pull the entire manifold, which added another 3 hours to the job. Anyone have a better method for those rear pump connections?

Seven hours on one fitting? That's brutal.

Seven hours is brutal, but is a weep really that big of a deal on an old machine?

Rowan_thomas84, those seven hours included pulling the manifold though, right? A weeping line often means the flare itself is cracked, so new washers won't seal it. On those rear connections, I've had luck using a crowfoot wrench with a long extension from underneath.
