Remember that time you had to level a tower crane on that uneven site in Tacoma?
We spent nearly 12 hours shimming and pouring a new base section because the initial survey was off by just two degrees, which felt like forever when you're racing daylight.

See this in cooking when a recipe is just a bit off.

Two degrees off is nothing until you're trying to line something up. It reminds me of setting forms for a foundation once where the plans were marked wrong. We had the whole rebar cage bent and ready before the foreman caught it. That kind of small mistake just eats up a whole day while you watch the clock. Makes you double check every single mark after that.

Exactly. Learned to snap a chalk line and measure off that instead of trusting printed plans alone. A second set of eyes before any steel gets bent saves so much headache. That rebar doesn't care about the deadline.
