Spent $60 on a wireless camera system for my jib tip

Finally got tired of guessing my hook height on foggy mornings, so I rigged up a cheap GoPro knockoff pointing down. Saved me from a near miss with a rain gutter last Tuesday. Anyone else use cameras up top or am I just paranoid?

$60 well spent until I drop it on my head.

I put a cheap bore scope cam on my jib arm two seasons ago. Costs about $35, clips right to the luff with a zip tie. It's not HD but it shows me exactly where the hook is in a haze. Never had a rain gutter issue but i did clip a dormer once blind. I think you're smart not paranoid.

That dormer clip is rough, I feel for you @grays13. I mean, I've been there with the fog myself and yeah, I think you're being smart not paranoid. $60 beats guessing and hoping every time.
