Warning: I laughed at the radio remote for our 40 ton for two years

I figured a wired pendant was always faster and the wireless was a gadget for lazy guys, but after a 5 hour pour in El Paso where I had to walk the load around a rebar cage 30 feet up, I got it. Does anyone else run a remote on their smaller rigs, and did it take you a while to trust it?
