Got a referral from a past client I barely remembered and it landed me a $3k project
A guy called me up saying I did his roof back in 2019. I had to dig through old records to even find his name. He recommended me to his neighbor who needed a full tear off and redo. I quoted it and they said yes. That one job paid for my whole marketing budget this year. Has anyone else had a surprise lead come out of nowhere from someone you forgot you worked with?

Best kind of surprise" is right, Joel. I was reading something just the other day about how people tend to remember unexpected good news way more than the stuff they see coming. Makes sense, surprises that work out just stick with you longer than the everyday wins.
