Honestly, it hit different because I've been stressing over perfect exports for clients who end up wanting changes anyway. Yeah "shortcuts save sanity" is 100% true. I used to think I had to do everything the long way or it didn't count, but that just burned me out fast. @jade_jenkins nailed it because once you've been around long enough you figure out which corners are safe to cut and which ones will mess you up. It's not about being lazy, it's about being smart with your energy. The real pros know exactly where to spend their time and where to just get it done quick.

Hold on, is it really that serious? I mean yeah, nobody wants to burn themselves out doing everything the hard way for no reason, but I've seen people take "cutting corners" way too far and end up creating way more work for themselves later. There's a difference between being efficient and just being sloppy. Like my neighbor tried to fix his own leaky sink by watching a five minute YouTube video and ended up flooding his entire basement. That wasn't a smart shortcut, that was just reckless. Sometimes the long way is the long way for a reason, you know?
