Hit 100 completed graphic design projects last week without realizing it
I was just going through my folders to clean up old files and saw project_100 saved, which made me stop and think about how I got there mostly by saying yes to weird small jobs nobody else wanted; has anyone else hit a random milestone that caught you off guard?

That's wild hitting a milestone without even noticing it. The 'saying yes to weird small jobs nobody else wanted' part really hit home with me. I did something similar with fixing up old electronics for people that everyone else considered broken beyond repair. One time I got a call from a guy who had a 20 year old printer that was making this insane grinding noise, and I spent an afternoon just taking it apart and cleaning out dried up ink and a paperclip that got stuck in the gears. It worked perfectly after that and he acted like I was some kind of wizard, which felt way better than the big corporate projects I was doing at the time. Those little random jobs add up in ways you don't expect, and sometimes they teach you more than the fancy work does.

Ngl, I gotta call this out a little bit. Is it really that deep? You fixed a printer, not rebuilt a spaceship. Don't get me wrong, it's cool you saved the guy some money and he was grateful, but acting like it taught you more than big corporate projects feels like a stretch. The real lesson is probably that people are easy to impress when you just show up and try. The big jobs are probably boring because they're just routine, not because they're less meaningful.
