Hit 1000 followers on my design portfolio and it was totally random

I woke up yesterday morning to find my Behance had blown up overnight. Some guy in Sweden shared my logo mockups in a slack group and suddenly I had 300 new followers in 12 hours. Has anyone else had a random spike like that come out of nowhere?

Had a buddy wake up to 500 new followers after a reddit post went nowhere for 3 days.

Did something similar happen to @laura_schmidt82's buddy too? That delay is rough, feels like the internet just ignored you then randomly showed up. Hope the followers were real people and not bots, that always makes it worth the wait.
