Hit 50 client referrals in one month and it freaked me out

Honestly, I hit 50 referrals last month and it was way more than I expected. I had to turn down work from a big film crew in San Diego because I couldn't handle it all. It made me realize I need to set a cap on how many projects I take or I'll burn out. Anyone else deal with a sudden spike like this and have a system for saying no?

Man I hit 30 once and had to start telling people my calendar was full.

My buddy Mike turned 29 and started saying "I'm booked solid" whenever someone asked him to hang out. Last week his wife caught him sitting alone in the dark at 8 PM scrolling through Facebook. He told her he was "processing his calendar commitments" while eating a bowl of cereal in his underwear.

Ha, that's rough but honestly I gotta call out something here. 29 isn't the same as 30. He's still in his 20s even if he's acting like he's collecting social security. There's a big difference between being actually booked solid and just trying to dodge plans by sitting in the dark in your underwear.
