Spent 3 hours hunting a phantom color profile issue

Had a client logo that kept coming out muddy on print proofs, no matter what I did. Turns out the PNG they sent had an embedded Display P3 profile that Premiere was ignoring but Photoshop was honoring. Took me a whole afternoon to realize I needed to strip profiles in Bridge before importing. Anyone else wasted a day on color management nonsense?

Nah, color management is fine. You're just overthinking it.

A buddy of mine used to say color management was overrated too, @anderson.piper, until he printed a family photo and everyone came out looking like they had a bad sunburn. He spent a whole weekend recalibrating his monitor and printer, and now he won't shut up about how important it is. I guess it's one of those things where you don't realize it matters until it goes wrong.

Wait, a whole weekend just to fix colors?
