Vent: Wasted $200 on a stock photo subscription I barely used

I signed up for a big stock photo site thinking I'd use their library for client projects every week. After 3 months and maybe 10 downloads, I realized I was paying $20 a month for nothing useful. Anyone else fall for these auto-renew subscriptions and just let the money drain?

Auto-subscriptions are such a trap, aren't they? How long did it take you to actually cancel after you noticed you weren't using it?

My Canva Pro auto-renewal ran for 14 months before I realized I hadn't logged in since day three, @jamie940. I figured the colorful design templates would somehow justify themselves through pure hope and subscription faith. My credit card statement looked like a ransom note for a graphic design degree I never earned. That was the month I learned "cancel anytime" actually means "you will forget until your bank account cries." Definitely a humbling moment for someone who considers themselves tech savvy by default.
