I saw a prompt last Tuesday that was just the word "thermostat" and I wrote 900 words from it, but a 5 sentence scene prompt I tried after gave me nothing. The single word made me build the whole world myself, while the detailed one felt like I was just filling in blanks someone else left. Which do you actually get more out of, the bare ones or the ones that hand you the scene?
