Appreciation post: That one Tuesday when everything went right in my novel

Last month I had a day where I wrote 3,000 words in 3 hours and every scene clicked into place. Has anyone else had a freak day like that where the plot just fixed itself?

Had one of those days last week actually. Woke up early, coffee was perfect, and suddenly my entire middle chapter just rewrote itself in like two hours. Honestly felt like the story was already done in my head and I was just copying it down.

Wait, TWO hours? So you're telling me the whole chapter just dropped into your head fully formed like you were taking dictation or something? That's wild, I've never had it happen that fast. Mine always comes in little bursts, like a couple paragraphs at a time over days.
