My old writing prompt jar finally gave out after a decade
The glass just cracked one morning last week, sitting on my desk. I had to scoop all the little folded papers into a coffee tin, which feels wrong. Anyone have a good replacement idea that isn't just another jar?

Guess the prompts finally staged a jailbreak.

Reminds me of when my old laptop's antivirus just gave up and let everything in. It was a weird Tuesday, started with pop-ups for fake cruise wins. @sage308, your comment brought that whole messy day right back.

That's just how these systems fail. They don't crash, they just quietly stop trying. The digital equivalent of a shrug.

What about a small wooden box? I mean, it's not a jar but it still feels like a special place to keep them. The coffee tin just seems too temporary, like it's waiting for the trash. A box with a little latch or even just a lid would give them a proper home again. It's got that same physical feel when you reach in and grab one. Maybe it's just me but the container is part of the whole ritual.
