Disputed a charge and won, but now my limit got cut

Amex sided with me on a $480 fraud claim from a gas station in Tulsa. I did everything right, filed the police report, sent the paperwork in 3 days. Two weeks later they dropped my credit line from $8,000 to $3,500. Said it was 'risk assessment' after account review. Anyone else see their limit drop right after a successful dispute? That seems backwards.
