I stopped checking my credit score monthly and my score went up 41 points by October
Everyone on here says you gotta check your score nonstop, but I did the opposite. I was checking Credit Karma like twice a day for months and my score sat at 640 the whole time. Back in June I got busy with a move to Columbus and forgot about it for around 90 days. When I finally looked in October it was 681, and the only thing that changed was one old collection fell off my report and my card use dropped because I was not staring at it and stressing. Has anyone else seen a jump just from laying off the constant checking?
