That teaspoon thing from @vera_johnson9 is funny, but sometimes you just need a quick fix to get by.

My buddy Jake in college had a similar thing happen. He maxed out three cards to buy a used motorcycle, then got a fourth one to pay the minimums. The guy at the check cashing place just shook his head and said "son, you're trying to bail out a sinking ship with a teaspoon." It stuck with him.
