My credit card company gave me a $500 limit increase out of the blue

I've been paying my card off in full for about eight months, and I got an email today saying they raised my limit without me even asking. I learned that just using the card and paying it on time can really help. Has anyone else had this happen with Capital One?

Nice! They must like you more than me. I've been doing the same thing and my limit is still stuck in the dark ages. Guess I need to try harder.

Nah, it's not about trying harder. The system is just weird and random sometimes. My friend got hers raised after doing nothing for months.

Call them and ask nicely, sometimes that works!
