My credit score finally hit 750 after paying off a $2,800 card I'd carried since college.

It unlocked a 2.9% APR car loan offer from my local credit union, which saved me a ton over the dealer's rate, so what's the next good number to aim for after that?

Chasing a higher number just wastes your energy now.

Facts, the algorithm doesn't care about you.

Read an article about how focusing on a single metric, like followers, can make you miss the real connections. It said the effort to go from, say, 1000 to 2000 followers often isn't worth the payoff... you just end up talking to an algorithm instead of people. The chase can burn you out for very little extra reward.
