Opened a store card for a 15% discount. Regretted it within a week.

Got talked into a store card at Best Buy for a laptop. 25% APR hit me later. Anyone else get burned by those one-time discounts?

Yeah those sign-up discounts are tempting but that APR sneaks up on you fast.

Pay that sucker off immediately, then cut the card up.

My cousin @piper_kim said the same thing after she maxed out her first card at 18.
