And yeah I think @gibson.avery is onto something there. When I finally killed my last student loan payment it was like... I kept waiting for a marching band to show up or something. But really I just sat there on my couch with my laptop feeling kind of empty for a few minutes. Then I took the money I used to throw at that bill and started putting it into a savings account every month instead. That little habit has been a lot more satisfying than any big celebration could have been.
