Can we talk about how people still use the same password everywhere?
My friend in Austin just told me his email got hacked because he used the same password for a sketchy game forum he signed up for last week. Now he's trying to figure out which of his other six accounts are at risk. How do you even start to explain to someone that a password manager isn't just for 'tech people'?

Your friend's situation is a perfect example. It's not just about tech people, it's about anyone with a bank login or a social media account. A password manager is just a locked digital notebook for your keys. You wouldn't use one physical key for your house, your car, and your office safe, right? The free ones are simple and do all the hard work for you.

Exactly, @hall.joel, my password manager even makes up crazy strong passwords for me.

But how do you even get someone to start using one? My dad still writes his passwords on a sticky note and calls it safe. The real hurdle is getting people to trust the app more than their own memory.
