Changed my mind about 2FA after a buddy got hacked
I used to think two-factor authentication was just a hassle (you know, waiting for those codes). Then my buddy Mike had his Steam account drained for $300 worth of skins because his password was 'Password123' and he had no 2FA. Took me 10 minutes to set it up on my accounts after that - has anyone else had a moment like that?

I used to roll my eyes at 2FA too, but after hearing how quick it was for his account to get wiped, I changed my tune real fast.

Same though. I set up 2FA on everything after seeing that same post and realizing how fast it all went down. @the_linda you're right that hearing a real story like that changes the whole game. It's not just some abstract warning anymore, it's someone's actual stuff gone in minutes. I didn't even know they could drain accounts that quick until I read the breakdown. Now I get why people push it so hard. Better a small inconvenience than losing everything you worked for.

2FA feels like that annoying friend who texts you "you gonna finish that sandwich?" but in this case you kinda need them... totally changed my mind after reading that same post @piperbailey.
