Finally got my parents to use a password manager after years of them writing everything on sticky notes

My dad kept using the same 4-digit PIN for everything including his bank. After he got phished on a fake Netflix email last month, I showed him Bitwarden and he actually switched. Anyone else have luck getting older relatives to stop using "password123"?

Man I feel this so hard. My mom had her whole life on sticky notes too, even the wifi password was taped to the fridge for like 5 years. After she clicked on a fake "your package is delayed" link and almost got her credit card stolen, I finally got her on Bitwarden as well. Now she actually tells me she feels safer knowing everything is in one place with a strong master password. Congrats on getting your dad to switch, it's a huge win when they finally see the light.

Is it bad that I still trust my sticky notes more than my own memory?
