Hot take: password managers aren't always the answer for everyone

I used to tell everyone to get a password manager, but after my aunt got locked out of her LastPass account 3 times in 6 months I changed my mind. She kept forgetting her master password and the recovery process was a nightmare each time. For older folks or people who just use like 5 sites regularly, a physical notebook in a desk drawer might actually work better. Has anyone else dealt with a family member who just couldn't make password managers work?

Set a timer for 5 minutes and just start typing. That got me out of the same loop.

So did she switch to a notebook or just keep resetting passwords?
