My password manager paid off big time after a breach scare last month
I've been using Bitwarden for about 18 months now, just for convenience really. Then my email got leaked in one of those big data breaches (the 2021 LinkedIn one apparently). I checked haveibeenpwned and saw it matched. Instead of panicking, I just ran the 'security report' feature in Bitwarden and found 12 sites where I'd reused that same password. Changed every single one in under an hour. Has anyone else had a moment where their password manager actually saved them from something real?

Glad it worked out for you man. I had to do the same thing last year after a site I barely used got hacked, took maybe an hour to rotate all my passwords and haven't touched a reset email since.

My password manager saved me from similar hassle when I realized my old Netflix password was the same one I used for some sketchy forum I signed up for in 2012. @spencer981, the security report feature is a lifesaver for stuff like that. Now I just wish it could remember where I left my car keys.
