My password manager setup broke after a Windows update last week

Last Thursday I updated Windows 11 and suddenly my Bitwarden extension stopped autofilling entirely. Had to dig through settings and reinstall the browser extension to get it working again. Anyone else had their password tools break after a patch?

Windows updates always break something.

Oh man, don't get me started. I swear Windows updates have a personal vendetta against me. I'll schedule an update for 2am, wake up to find my computer stuck on a blue screen with some cryptic error code nobody can decipher. And forget about rollbacks, those things fail more often than they work. At this point I just pray before clicking "update and restart" like it's a sacrificial ritual.

My 2019 HP laptop crashed three times after the latest update - @wendy131 I used to think people were exaggerating about update problems but that really changed my mind, idk.
