Saw a guy at the Dayton library type his password with everyone watching
Was at the downtown branch last Tuesday and this dude sat at the public computer typing his email password with zero shame while a line of us stood right behind him. I almost said something but then figured he probably uses the same password for his bank too. Is it weird that I wanted to hand him a sticky note about password managers, or should I just mind my own business next time?
Oh man, a buddy of mine did almost the same thing at a coffee shop in Kettering last year and some kid in line memorized it and got into his email like two days later. @holly_reed55 is right, that's the real problem, because then the guy gets locked out and has to reset everything. He spent a whole weekend changing passwords on like fifteen sites and cancelling a credit card, total nightmare. People just don't think about who's standing behind them.
