Shoutout to the pizza place that flagged a weird login
I got a text from my favorite pizza shop about a login from another country. Turns out, someone tried to use my saved card info for a big order. I had to reset all my passwords in a hurry. Always turn on two-factor for food apps, it really helped me out.

Honestly, all this worry about safety is getting out of hand. Two-factor just adds more steps when you just want a pizza. Most of the time, nothing bad happens, and you're just jumping at shadows. Plus, getting texts from a pizza shop feels kind of invasive, like they're watching too closely. Maybe just be more careful with your passwords instead of relying on extra steps.

That $2,000 hack Bailey mentioned started with a pizza site breach. If a text feels invasive, how do you feel about a hacker having full access to your email and every account linked to it? Would the extra step still seem worse than losing everything?

Ask if you'd still call it jumping at shadows after your bank account got drained. Guess we should just tell people whose houses burn down they should've been more careful with candles, right?

My friend in Austin lost $2,000 when her email got hacked because she didn't have two-factor on. That extra text message might seem like a pain, but it's like a deadbolt on your door, you know? Even if someone guesses your password, they can't get in without your phone, so it stops most attacks cold. Telling people to just be careful with passwords is like saying don't use candles at all, but sometimes accidents happen and we need backup.
