Unpopular opinion: password managers are actually a huge risk in my opinion

I spent 3 days locked out of my own bank account after my password manager glitched during an update and corrupted my vault, has anyone else had a recovery nightmare like that?

Did you also have to answer three security questions just to reset a password you forgot ten minutes later?
