Why does nobody talk about using a password manager when your browser already does it for free?
A guy at my local library in Portland showed me his setup after a class there last month, and he had every password in a paper notebook he kept in his jacket. I asked why not just use the free browser one, and he said he doesn't trust anything that syncs, which I get. But then he also writes the notebook passwords in a code only he understands, so if he forgets the code he's locked out of everything. I can't tell if that's safer than just letting Chrome save stuff or way more risky. Where do you all land on this: paper notebook, browser sync, or a paid app?
