Caught myself buying packs of new socks for 6 months straight before realizing why
I kept running out of socks and buying 6-packs at Target every few weeks. Figured I just wore through them fast cause I'm on my feet all day landscaping. Then last month I dumped my laundry basket out to sort and found 14 mismatched single socks. My wife pointed out I never check the dryer for the mates before buying new ones. Now I keep a spare mesh bag for lost socks, has anyone else accidentally created a sock hoard without noticing?

Ha, that's both hilarious and way too relatable! Do you think it's more of a laziness thing where you just didn't want to dig through the dryer, or were you legit convinced the socks were vanishing into thin air? I only ask because I've caught myself doing the exact same thing with charging cables and it's always pure denial on my part.
