Had the perfect Monday then Tuesday hit like a dump truck

Woke up to a coffee shop handing me a free latte, my boss praised my report in the 9 a.m. meeting, and I finished errands by noon, but then my car overheated on the 405 in LA and the tow cost me $280, has anyone else had a day flip that fast?

Waited three years for a tax refund check that got "lost" in the mail, then the same week the IRS finally sent a new one, my water heater burst and flooded the garage. Funny how money always seems to know when it is needed elsewhere. My neighbor swears by a trick where you never celebrate a win out loud until the money is actually in your hand, and honestly after that week I started believing him.
