Had to pick between a standing desk and a regular one for my home office in Denver

I spent like 3 hours last week going back and forth on a standing desk from Autonomous or a regular one from IKEA. I went with the standing desk because my back hurts from sitting 8 hours a day, but now I'm wondering if I'll actually use it or just adjust it up and down nonstop. Has anyone else dealt with the same choice and regretted it?

Throw an anti fatigue mat under it and switch every 30 minutes, that's the only way it works.

Honestly, I'd bet money you'll barely use it standing. Most people I know who got standing desks just set them to one height and leave them there after the first week. Maybe it's just me but sitting all day is a real pain, yet the whole standing thing gets old fast when your feet start hurting after 20 minutes. A good ergonomic chair with a regular desk probably would have saved you money and been more comfortable in the long run.
