My buddy in Ohio made me rethink tipping culture after his rant last week

He said servers get paid less because tips are expected, but half the places add a service fee now and still ask for 20%. Been thinking about it nonstop since, has anyone else noticed this double standard creeping in?

Man, that Ohio buddy is onto something. It's getting wild out there with the fees and still wanting a full tip on top of it.

Nah... servers gotta eat too, that fee ain't going to them.

I know, right? Those service fees are already 3-5% at half the spots around me, then the tip prompt starts at 20% and I’m left wondering where my actual bill went.
