My Thursday was a mess because I couldn't decide on a simple lunch order.

I was at the deli counter in Franklin Market, staring at the menu for a solid ten minutes... turkey or ham? I kept switching my choice back and forth, holding up the line. The guy behind me, Steve, finally just said 'get the turkey, it's better today' and I did. Has anyone else gotten totally stuck on a tiny choice like that and wasted a bunch of time?

Disagree with the whole idea of a simple choice being harder. For me, it's the big stuff that makes me freeze up, like picking a health plan or something. The small stuff, like lunch meat, is where my brain gets a break and just picks one. Maybe it's because the stakes are so low you can't really mess it up.

Totally get the deli counter freeze. I do that at the coffee shop every single morning. The whole "latte or cappuccino" debate in my head takes forever. My brain just locks up over the dumbest stuff. It's like the more simple the choice, the harder it gets.

Actually, that's not a simple choice.
